Place and escort cards
Print a card for every seated guest, with their name and table, straight from your seating chart. How it works
Check it to find your list here next time. Don’t use it on a shared computer.
Not saved yet: closing or reloading this page loses your list.
How saving works
- Off: your list is only in this tab. Closing or reloading the tab loses it.
- On: your list is saved in this browser only, so it’s here next time you open this page. Clearing browser data still deletes it, so download a backup too.
- Unchecking deletes the saved copy from this browser. Don’t use it on a shared computer.
- The guest list, seating chart, place cards, table numbers and meal count pages share this one list. The budget, checklist, timeline and vendor tools each have their own Keep box and backup.
- Undo works until you reload or leave this page.
Guests’ replies, seating, prints and counts below are for this event.
No guests yet. Add them one by one, import a spreadsheet, or look around with a made-up list first.
This is the made-up sample list. Remove it when you’re ready to enter your own guests.
Guest list
Who hasn’t replied
Everyone invited to this event whose reply is still “No reply yet”, grouped by household — for a call or a message from your own phone. Nothing is sent from this page.
Made on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
Printable list
When printing, set the scale to “Actual size” (100%) and turn off “Fit to page” so sizes stay exact.
Households and addresses
A household is who shares one invitation. Edit its name, the name on envelopes and its mailing address here.
Addresses are private: they appear only on address labels and, if you choose, the guest list CSV.
Invitations and envelopes
One invitation per household, not per person. Adult children can get their own. Spares are your choice — no number is suggested.
How many to order
For mistakes, late additions and keepsakes. Whole number, 0 or more.
Households
Invitation list (CSV)
Household names and invitation counts, made on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
Thank-you notes
Keep track of who to thank, per household. Only the status and the date the note went out are kept — no gift descriptions, no amounts.
Thank-you list (CSV)
Every household with its status and date, made on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
Choose guests
To move someone who already has a seat: show “Has a seat”, search the name, pick the new table and press Assign.
Tables
Add tables
No tables yet. Add tables to start seating guests.
Seating preferences
Optional reminders for two guests of this event. They only show a note when they aren’t met — they never block a seat or move anyone, and no reasons are kept.
No seating preferences yet.
Room layout
Planning picture only — not a capacity or safety check. Your venue decides where tables may go.
Rental counts
Counted from the tables of the event you are working on. Counts only: no linen sizes, no venue capacity — check those with your rental company and venue.
Your own number — none is suggested. Kept on this page only: not saved with your list and not in the backup.
Counts only, made on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
Nothing to print yet
Before you print
When printing, set the scale to “Actual size” (100%) and turn off “Fit to page” so sizes stay exact.
Print tips
- Print at 100% (“Actual size”) and turn off “Fit to page”. In Chrome and Edge: More settings → Scale. In Safari on a Mac: Show Details → Scale.
- Measure the 50 mm line (1.97 in, just under 2 in) on a printed card sheet. If it is shorter or longer, the scale was changed.
- On a phone, the print dialog often cannot set the scale: download the PDF and print it from a computer.
- For cards, use matte card stock your printer accepts (often around 200–250 g/m² or 65–80 lb cover). Print one test page on plain paper first.
Import a guest list (CSV)
Save your spreadsheet as CSV first (Excel: File → Save As → “CSV UTF-8”; Google Sheets: File → Download → CSV). The file is read on this device only; nothing is uploaded. Nothing changes in your list until you confirm the import.
Check accents: this file may not be UTF-8. If names look wrong (for example “José”), save the file again as “CSV UTF-8” and open it again.
Preview (first 5 rows)
Wide files scroll sideways inside this box.
Choose what each column holds. Suggestions are marked “suggested”; check them.
What will be imported
Off: the dietary column is not imported. On: notes are stored with the list and dietary notes are turned on in Settings.
No guest rows were found below the column titles.
Settings
Events
One event is enough for most weddings. Add another when part of the day has its own guest list, replies or seating — for example a ceremony and a reception. Each event keeps its own replies, tables, seats, vendor meals and prints; choose the one you work on in “Event” above the counts.
Optional. Stored as the calendar date you pick.
Use your own name for it, e.g. “Ceremony”, “Dinner” or “After party”.
The couple
Optional labels for the two of you.
Meal choices
No meal choices yet.
For spellings of the same meal, e.g. “Veg” and “Vegetarian”. Guests and vendor meals with the first choice get the second one, and the first is removed. You can undo this.
Vendor meals
Meals for photographers, musicians, planners… They count in meal totals, never as guests.
No vendor meals yet.
Dietary notes
Dietary and allergy notes are health information. They stay in this tab’s memory; they are saved in this browser only if you check “Keep on this device”. They are never printed on guest-facing items and appear only on the caterer detail sheet when you choose.
Extra columns from imports
Columns you chose to keep when importing a file. They are stored with your list and in backups, but not shown anywhere else in the app. Remove any you don’t need, especially private information.
No extra columns are stored.
Guest list as a spreadsheet (CSV)
A spreadsheet copy of everyone invited to this event, with replies, meals and tables, to read, print or share. Choose what else to include:
The file holds only the event selected in “Event” above the counts. To get another event’s list, select that event first.
This file is a spreadsheet copy, not a full copy: it leaves out other events, table shapes, seats and room layout, vendor meals, invitation and thank-you planning, and any contact details or notes you do not include. Opening it here again with “Replace my current list” removes those. The backup below is the full copy.
Turn on dietary notes in Settings to include them.
Backup and restore
A backup file keeps everything in this workspace: guests, replies, meals, tables and seats, events and settings. Open it here with “Restore a backup” to get it all back, on this computer or another one. Keep it somewhere safe, for example in your email or cloud storage.
Each planner page has its own backup and its own “Keep on this device” box. This backup holds only the guest list workspace. Download the budget, checklist, day timeline and vendor comparison backups on those pages.
Download a backup
The backup contains your whole list, including contact details and notes. Anyone with the file can read it.
Restore a backup
You are asked before your current list is replaced, and you can undo it.
Unreadable saved data
The list saved in this browser couldn’t be read. It wasn’t changed or deleted. Restore a backup above, or discard the unreadable data so this browser can save your list again.
About storage
Your list lives only in this browser tab until you check “Keep on this device”. Then it is saved in this browser on this device.
- Browser storage can be cleared by you, by cleaning tools or by the browser itself when space runs low.
- Private or incognito windows forget everything when they close.
- Other devices and other browsers don’t see the list.
- Nothing is sent to a server. Download a backup regularly and keep it somewhere safe.
Start over
Empty this list to begin again, for example after trying the sample list. Your event names and dates, your names and the Keep setting stay.
Everything on this page runs in your browser. Nothing you type or open is sent to our servers.
